Chicago is well-known for its hot dogs, deep-dish pizza, and Italian beef sandwiches. But Chicago has made quite a name for itself in the international foodie scene in the last decade, with Alinea being named the top restaurant in the United States by Gourmet magazine, and nearly two dozen restaurants receiving coveted Michelin star ratings in 2010.
